Awards & Recognition

Accredited by Professional Associations

ALOA Security Professionals Association, Inc

ALOA Security Professional Association

Anyone can buy a van and call themselves a locksmith. ALOA exists to separate the real companies from the rest.

Founded in 1955 and formerly the Associated Locksmiths of America, ALOA is the largest association of its kind in North America, with more than 6,000 members. Getting in is not automatic. Applicants go through a background check, must show at least two years in the trade, and need references from other industry professionals vouching for them. ALOA also certifies technicians by exam, from Certified Registered Locksmith up through Certified Master Locksmith.

Before you hire anyone, look them up at findalocksmith.com. If they are not there, ask why. We are listed.

Recognition We Did Not Pay For

Industry recognition is nice. Customer trust is the point.

What Actually Makes Us Different

Most locksmiths can’t say any of these things. We can say all of them.

Licensed by Choice

Arizona doesn’t require locksmiths to be licensed. We are anyway. Fewer than 12 licensed locksmith companies exist in this state. ROC #271563 means a real bond and real consequences for shoddy work.

W-2 Employees Only

No contractors. No subs. No dispatch services. Every tech who arrives at your door is on payroll, in uniform, background-checked, and trained by ACME. If something goes wrong, we own it.

Real Shops, Real Address

Four storefronts you can walk into. Gilbert HQ, Mesa, Phoenix, Scottsdale. Not a virtual office. Not a PO box. Not a national call center pretending to be local.

Veteran-Owned

Owner Robert Vallelunga served in the U.S. Navy. That discipline carries through to how we run schedules, document jobs, and train technicians. Promise made, promise kept.

Upfront Pricing

Pay what you’re quoted. Free online estimates when submitting photos.

Warranty That Means Something

Lifetime workmanship warranty plus a money-back guarantee. We’ve been operating for years. We’re not going anywhere if you need us to come back.

A Legacy Going Back to 1972

Three generations of Valley locksmithing under one roof.

ACME Locksmith opened its doors in 1997. Along the way, ACME acquired Scottsdale Lock & Key, which had been serving the Valley since 1972. That legacy of trust still walks into our Scottsdale storefront every week.

We also operate Arizona Locksmith Training, the only locksmith training in the state conducted in a real operating lock shop. We’ve trained over 100 of the next generation of techs. Even if you don’t hire ACME, odds are your locksmith has ties to our company.

Our sister site, acme-safes-for-sale.com, sells home and gun safes nationwide with financing through PayPal Credit. Whatever you need locked, opened, programmed, or installed, we’ve probably done it 10,000 times.

In the News

When Arizona Media Needs a Locksmith Expert, They Call Us

ACME has been the on-camera locksmith expert for Arizona’s biggest TV stations and consumer reporters. Scam warnings. Smart lock reviews. Safe buying guides. If it locks, we’ve talked about it on TV.

I stopped in to get a key fob programmed. Carter was able to program the fob in about 5 minutes. It works great and the cost was $150 less than another locksmith I called. I would recommend Acme Locksmiths.

I had a great experience with ACME Locksmith—David was fantastic! He helped me get into my RV’s main entry door and cut new keys for the lock. He arrived right on time, was polite and professional, and got the job done quickly and efficiently. … More It's clear he knows his craft and takes pride in doing it well. Highly recommend ACME Locksmith and David for anyone needing reliable, courteous service!
