Safe Locksmith Services
If you have any needs or trouble with your safe, ACME Locksmith’s safe service can assist throughout the Phoenix Valley.
For safe repair, if you are bringing the safe into one of our safe stores, we recommend our Scottsdale Lock & Safe Center or Gilbert Lock & Safe Center. All of our shops are capable of helping when you bring a safe into us for service, but the staff at these two have been working on safes for longer than we’ve been in business.
Safe Combination Changes
If you have a working combination to the safe one of our safe locksmiths can come out and change the safe’s combination for you. We offer this for safe dials and electronic safe locks.
Is the safe door open, but you don’t know the combination? No problem. So long as the door is open we can change a safe combination as well.
What if you have the combination, but you can’t get it to work? Review our How to Dial a Safe Combination article to make sure it’s being done correctly.
Change from Safe Dial to an Electronic Lock
Growing tired of all that right-left-right dialing of the safe combination? Switch to an electronic lock.
Are electronic locks secure? Don’t they fail more often? Check out our article on dial locks vs electronic safe locks.
What about the lock manufacturers keeping the safe’s override code? There are ways to prevent anyone from finding your safe’s override code. If this is something that concerns you, remove the serial number from both the safe and inside the electronic lock. The serial number is what’s needed to obtain the override code. Without it, it cannot be obtained. However, if the user code is every lost, the only way to get into the safe will be to drill it.
Regularly Service Safes
Phoenix safe servicing addresses issues that affect the safe’s functionality due to long-term use of the safe. For example, if your safe becomes difficult to open or close, it may indicate that the bolt work is loosening, which requires immediate servicing. Similarly, a hard-to-turn dial is another clear sign that maintenance is needed.
Another warning sign is when the numbers on the combination dial begin to shift. If the number “20” starts aligning as “20 1/2,” it’s time to have the dial serviced.
Timely repairs are usually quick and affordable. However, delaying maintenance can lead to significant problems, such as being locked out of your safe. Safe drilling, necessary in such cases, is far more expensive than routine maintenance.
Safe Movers in Phoenix
ACME Locksmith moves safes throughout Phoenix.
We will also bolt down safes to foundations that do not have post-tension slabs. Bolting into a post-tension slab can be dangerous. Some safes don’t need to be bolted down. Some do. Ask us for our professional recommendation.
